Delhi to Leh Ladakh

Embark on the ultimate motorcycle odyssey from Delhi to the high-altitude desert of Ladakh, crossing five majestic mountain passes including the legendary Baralacha La and Tanglang La. This 9-day solo expedition challenges riders with the thrilling Gata Loops, vast More Plains, and the mesmerizing blue waters of Pangong Tso. Experience the raw beauty of the Himalayas while navigating from the lush Kullu Valley to the barren moonscapes of Leh. Note: For Indian tourists, the traditional Inner Line Permit (ILP) is no longer required for restricted areas; instead, an online Environment and Development Fee receipt serves as the official permit. New environmental regulations are in effect, including strict waste management rules, mandatory GPS tracking on sensitive routes, and local ecological fees for sustainability.

⚠️ Ongoing light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in Himachal Pradesh until September 17, 2026. While two new tunnels at Dayod and Hanogi on the Kiratpur-Manali highway (NH3) opened on September 11, 2026, easing congestion and bypassing landslide-prone areas, general monsoon-related landslide and flash flood risks in Himachal Pradesh persist. IMD has issued yellow alerts for intensifying rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh from October 13-16, with thunderstorms and lightning expected until October 18. Fresh snow was reported on high passes on October 10-11. Check local police advisories and road status before departure.
