CRITICAL: Fill your tank and all jerry cans at Tandi Petrol Pump. No fuel for the next 365 km.
Check into a riverside camp (e.g., Padma Lodge). Rest is crucial for acclimatization.
Start before dawn to avoid melting snow streams (nalas) later in the day.
Cross Baralacha La (4890m). The Darcha-Sarchu section, including Baralacha La, is currently operating on a one-way alternate-day traffic system (7 AM - 11 AM window). Vehicles from Darcha towards Sarchu/Leh are allowed on odd dates, and from Sarchu towards Darcha/Manali on even dates. Bikers were initially restricted but are now generally allowed, though local conditions should be verified. Watch out for black ice and slush. Breakfast at makeshift dhabas in Zing Zing Bar.
Cross the HP-Ladakh border at Sarchu. Tackle the 21 dizzying hairpin bends of Gata Loops.

Arrange Inner Line Permits (ILP) for Nubra/Pangong. Breakfast at The Tibetan Kitchen.
Visit Leh Palace and ride up to Shanti Stupa for a panoramic sunset view of the city.
Ride to the world famous Khardung La pass. The pass is open, but recent snowfall can make roads slippery with slush and ice. Expect potential traffic jams due to ongoing BRO clearance work and convoys. Take a quick photo (don't stay long due to altitude).
Visit the giant Maitreya Buddha statue at Diskit Monastery.
Ride double-humped Bactrian camels in the white sand dunes of Hunder.
Take the direct Shyok route (if open) towards Pangong. It runs parallel to the river.
Reach the stunning color-changing lake. Check into a campsite at Spangmik or Merak.
Ride back towards Leh crossing the mighty Chang La pass (5360m). The road conditions are challenging with narrow, single-way sections, slush, and snow due to ongoing clearance. Exercise extreme caution.
Stop at Hemis, the largest and richest monastery in Ladakh.
Final ride into Leh. Celebration dinner at Bon Appetit.
Short ride to Magnetic Hill and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara before bike handover/shipping.
Conclude the expedition. Ship bike back or fly out.
