Traverse the treacherous yet breathtaking "Middle Land" on this ultimate 10-day circuit. Starting from Shimla's lush valleys, you will ascend into the barren high-altitude desert of Spiti. As of late May 2026, the Manali-Kaza road via Kunzum Pass has reopened for 4x4 vehicles after snow clearance, making the full circuit possible. However, conditions remain rough with melting snow and some stretches may be slippery. The Shimla-Kinnaur route is currently open, but can be temporarily blocked by snowfall or landslides. Highlights include the world's highest post office, ancient monasteries.
